Public companies by lobbying spend
Listed companies ranked by their lobbying spend in 2026 Q2 — the most recent quarter most of them have reported. A quarter that has only just opened is not comparable, so it is not used.
When a company files for itself, its reported expenses are the whole figure and already include what it paid outside firms. When it does not, the figure is the sum of what outside firms reported earning from it. A company that filed but left the amount unreadable shows as “not readable”, never as zero.
A row marked outside firms is a floor, not a total. It means we have not matched the company’s own filing, so only its lobbyists’ fees are counted and its real spend is higher. Compare those rows with each other, not with the self-filed ones.
